So you want to taste the purple pellug?🤔

Now this is some great advertising! H&N

Pellet bashing wasn't the intention of the ad, there's nothing wrong with them. The waisted projectile is a proven design that's been around for over 100 years. For many applications they are still the better choice. The introduction of slugs has simply opened up a new, broad field of...

    Is lubricating pellets necessary?

We have done our own tests and have not noticed any improvement in performance. Otherwise, if would have an advantage, we would already treat our pellets and slugs with the appropriate lubrication at the factory. However, we do apply a thin coating of an antioxidant to our slugs. Since they are...

    Is lubricating pellets necessary?

No, we usually send our esteemed colleagues Alexei, Sergey, and Igor. They have a very, uh, "convincing" way of pointing out misconduct.

    What pellets to order?

You summoned me, master? ;) Hatsan USA and Air Venturi (the wholesale division of Pyramyd Air) are our two distributors in the USA. Deliveries to these two companies are completely independent of each other. Therefore, one company may have a product in stock while the other currently not. In...

    Is lubricating pellets necessary?

Interesting. I don't recall us giving Napier permission to use us as a reference or to use our logo. Especially since we do NOT recommend lubing pellets.

    Semi-wadcutter slug

"Semi-wadcutter" is a term that can be used for various projectile designs. Can you explain the design you have in mind in more detail? And its intended use? We're always open to new ideas.

Fastest Pellet Sorter in the Works

Maybe I'm making a mistake, but 0.1% of 18 grains is 0.018 grains, rounded up to 0.02 grains. And 0.1% was the tolerance claim. 1% tolerance, plus or minus, is already a 2% range. That would actually be too much for an H&N production batch.

Fastest Pellet Sorter in the Works

That means the machine can weigh for example an 18 grain pellet to a tolerance of 0.02 grain?

Help with these Baracuda Match .177 HnN

The Baracuda Match is actually the same pellet as the Baracuda. We select particularly good-shooting production lots for the "Match" and offer them in different head sizes. The additional effort isn't worth it (yet) for the .25 caliber, as globally there's far greater demand for .177 and .22.

Help with these Baracuda Match .177 HnN

These are our Baracuda Match in an old packaging (15 years and older). Here is our current product website with basic information: https://www.hn-sport.de/en/air-gun-hunting-target-shooting/baracuda-match-177 Stay away from Amazon for ordering pellets. They package the tins extremely poorly.

H&N Precision Slug .22 - your new option for long-range shooting

We developed these slugs primarily with the PRS/PRC shooting discipline in mind. Therefore, these slugs are only produced in .22.

H&N Precision Slug .22 - your new option for long-range shooting

Okay, now I have to apologize. We did NOT send any Precision Slugs to PA with the last shipment. I don't know what the hell I saw yesterday in our ERP system. I'm very embarrassed.:( Maybe there were some hallucinogens in my coffee... I will add some to next shipment which is in preparation.

H&N Precision Slug .22 - your new option for long-range shooting

That's strange. We sent half a million of each diameter to PA with the last shipment. Perhaps they haven't been recorded in the shop system yet.
