If you turned the little internal adjuster screw all the way in clockwise and it’s doing the same your gun must have the wrong hammer weight. Did you buy it new or used ? Sounds like the heavy .30 hammer in the .22 or maybe even a tungsten.

My P35-22 has had no O-rings replaced or other maintenance work. It has had the hammer spring adjusted and the trigger adjusted and an occasional barrel clean. A LOT less than my 3 times as expensive Caiman. I've done more to the 25 and 177 but it was not because they broke.

Have you tried raising the pressure on the regulator? I doubt that those small cheap manometers are accurate, I would put more precise digital manometers. Does that Max1 model have the ability to adjust the hammer force?
