I think that’s a Crosman 1400(maybe 140). Also white spacer makes me think it was probably made for Sears. Someone will come along that knows more than me. Parts should be easy to find. Rick at Precision Pellet is very knowledgeable and sold me parts in the past for older crosmans. Good luck Rob

That vibra tite stuff reminds of “superelastic bubble plastic”. The stuff you play with as a kid. Has the little straw and tubes of stuff you blow bubbles with. Feels and smells exactly as I remember as a kid 😂

hmm sounds like a valve issue. Is it building pressure and getting harder to pump? When you cock and fire can you hear the hammer hit the valve? Then no air comes out? Rob

My Huma 40 is going on my airmaks krait lite standard in .25. I think it’s shooting a smidge under 40fpe. See how long it takes to blow out the front lol. I’ll be happy if it last a tin of pellets lol

You can wrap the avalanche inserts with felt, etc. I tested mine today it definitely quiets them down. Not sure that’ll help with your issue(doubt it). I’ve never heard of a moderator throwing off pellets that bad and causing 50fps variations in speed. Something’s definitely way out of wack...

Looks good. How you like the thumb rest? Once you add one and figure out best way to cock it becomes easier. I use two fingers and grip the bolt as close to bolt as possible. Kinda akward at first but becomes a habit.

Try to loosen the stock before you put it in. If that doesn’t work just grind the stock a hair deeper. You’ll never see where you grind anyways. Those guys thumb rest are really nice to have. Rob
