Mine is the HE507C-GR X2 and it has the slide out battery compartment so this 507 doesn't need to be removed for battery replacement.

I wonder if SWFA finally upgraded the IQ in the new gen. I mounted my decade plus old SWFA 3-15 FFP on a gun I don't shoot much because it's fallen behind other Co's in IQ by quite a bit.
