    Old Eyes

...tear glands in the eye lids. This morning I went out and bought that castor oil and put a drop on each upper eyelid, and gently rubbed it in (I wasn't going to wait until tonight). For the rest of the day...no more itchy eyes, and no need to use the eye drops. Yep, I'm convinced! Many thanks...

    Ring prices

I'm not sure what you get extra for the money. I've never had a *bad* set of rings. Even the Chinese $8 rings. Maybe if I were shooting a .457 PB spending larger amounts of money on rings would be necessary. But a PCP or Springer, as long as they are level and tight you are good to go. My $30...

    Edgun West and Edgun Shop?

I got stuck / surprised by this. The tax was pretty modest, probably less than 2%, but still an expense I wasn't aware of. GsT

They only gave you $100 for shooting their P-dogs? Well it bought the ammo at least.

    N/A SE Wisconsin PCP

He has ordered other brands for me, mostly what Air Venturi stocks. Ask and ye shall receive. Most of his customers shoot competitively and use FX rifles and they move off the shelf right away. If he stocked a lot of other brands, they just sit for the most part except for guys like me who...

    Maven scopes

pretty good visual... on the RS.5 4-24x50 SFP I tried this scope on a new Blackwolf PCP in .177 hoping it would be the best option for a 78 year old with so so eyes. Very nice indeed. I also compared it to Sightrons' S-Tac (half the price) with a similar focus and mag range. Also compared to a...

Thank you. I have a Mutant that shoots incredible. Was thinking about trying a compact. Going to keep my eyes peeled for a used one. Or maybe just save a couple more bucks and grab one from TT.

    Maven RS.5 4-20x50 SFP w IR

I’ve tried the Maven on a few different airguns now. A Ghost, a Blackwolf, and a TM1000X. It’s a beautiful scope, almost sexy and it functions flawlessly and I really like the mil reticle SFP for HFT use - right amount of thickness. Like most scopes, at 16X It doesn’t range well much past 35...

    Shake awake scopes

Mine is the HE507C-GR X2 and it has the slide out battery compartment so this 507 doesn't need to be removed for battery replacement.

New SWFA SS Gen 2 Scopes

I wonder if SWFA finally upgraded the IQ in the new gen. I mounted my decade plus old SWFA 3-15 FFP on a gun I don't shoot much because it's fallen behind other Co's in IQ by quite a bit.
