    MAFTA First Match ....... Thanks!

Yeah sadly. I just am not comfortable shooting it. I can shoot it if needed, but still don't feel comfortable doing so. So you know it will shoot ;) All the missed shots I called after the trigger pull. I knew they would miss from a flinch or just my crappy shooting.

    lapses of judgment

I laugh because we have all done it. Just be careful and never look down the barrel.

    MAFTA First Match ....... Thanks!

Agreed Croxton! The lanes were very well maintained and kept the targets in clear view. All while still playing with the shadows on some of the targets. Then after the match the guys grabbed chainsaws and cut down some problem trees that were dead, and cleaned up some overhangs. Really...

    N/A High shot count .177s?

Am in the same boat. I have one rifle that gets a lot of shots per fill, but I don't feel like I can shoot it to the fullest of its potential. More of a traditional style stock guy.

    MAFTA First Match ....... Thanks!

Neil!! Thats who it was! I am terrible with names. Agreed John was great meeting you guys and I did indeed have a blast shooting! Wish it wasn't such a drive to make it down there. May have to talk with the wife and see if it can be a twice a year trip or something.

PCP Rifle Mac1 USFT for benchrest or FT ...... $1500

Price dropped a little. Just shot a match with MAFTA and aside from me goofing a few shots, the rifle shot EXTREMELY well and functioned as it should. The rifle made it easy to shoot and it felt almost like cheating.

    MAFTA First Match ....... Thanks!

I just wanted to do a little write up about the even I went to this weekend. A little back story...... While this isn't my first ft match, the last match was 10 years go with an AA EV-2. Same FT group that I shot with all those years ago, but of course some of the members have changed. But it...

Airgun shooting for people with PTSD

Just go ask them. I have plenty of buddies that have ptsd as well, and they have fun shooting both airguns and powder guns. There are a few that say no, and that is ok. Just offer and don't be pushy. People seem to think vets or people with ptsd are to fragile to do anything. Just ask and...

N/A Digital/Electronic PCPs - Brands besides Daystate and Skout?

The boards are stupid simple. A micro switch, a capacitor or two, a power circuit and a solenoid. There is really nothing to them to be afraid of.

N/A Digital/Electronic PCPs - Brands besides Daystate and Skout?

Doesn't the Thomas have an electronic trigger option? Having had a few of the daystate electric rifles...they work great. Don't be worried about the electronics failing if they get wet. Don't soak them, but they won't fry in normal rain and hunting scenarios.

Just open it up and see what the sizes are. There isn't much to them. I would think they use standard sizes.

PCP Rifle Mac1 USFT for benchrest or FT ...... $1500

I really enjoy the Theoben and RAW rifles. Will to work a trade if someone needed. Or something I can make into a compact multishot truck gun.

    Please Explain

$500 is cheap for an optic. Glasses and exam in my area is around the $200. My mother has horrible eyes and needs the plastic lenses that are as thick as coke bottle bottoms. Even these are only around the $500 mark. Glasses are all custom made per person, and made to order. So they are all...
