    H&N Baracuda Match pellets

IT is an indication that different dies were used. Sadly, size may actually be very similar. I can rarely feel a difference in seating pressure between them, but one "size" is often better in one gun, and you really need to give both a try. In some guns, I can find no difference in groups.

    GX cs4i

The price difference was irrelevant to me. I purchased the model with outboard 12v supply because I wanted the waste heat dumped outside the compressor case and because I have several alternative12v sources for my short-wave radios.

GX CS-4....... Lost check valve ball

It might be helpful if someone measured the diameter of the ball. It is almost certainly a standard bearing diameter.

    HW/Weihrauch Hw95s versus Hw98 - pretending to spend money

I woke up the other day being a shaky old man. No idea how that happened. I like shooting offhand and that extra weight forward is the major advantage of the 98. The 95 is certainly more agile.

    HW/Weihrauch Hw95s versus Hw98 - pretending to spend money

I was blissfully unaware of an HW98 "match" model. My commentary was directed toward the scope only version with the muzzle weight and bull barrel.

    HW/Weihrauch Hw95s versus Hw98 - pretending to spend money

The 98 has a more weight forward feel and works better for me in offhand shooting than my 95s (I have HW95L in both .177 and .20). I think that the HW98 forend is flatter and works a little better off the bench as well. It (HW98) might not be as handy to some, but the extra weight is OK by me...

Air Arms Tx200 Prosport Breach seals

I have not had trouble with PS breech seals. Is there an issue requiring alternative seals? thanks, clueless in CA.

Need dovetail to Picatinny adapters for TX200/Pro Sport

I started using those after the little UTG clamps moved in recoil on springers.

    Other Reliable Chronograph

I have found my very old Prochrono gets uppity when the batteries are near exhaustion....sometimes it works and sometimes very spotty. .177 sensing goes off first the light kit really helps otherwise

    Other Reliable Chronograph

Agree, I have tried the cheepy chinese and they are very compact and easy to travel with. There's an old saw about the man with two watches that never knows what time it is. I am over invested in chronographs from Lab Radar to $30 imports and they are all very close to each other over the...

help with moderator for Evanix Rex P 9mm/.357

I used Neil Clague for my Sumatra. A very nicely done mod and great service!

    Other Reliable Chronograph

I have several shooting ranges that require travel. Sooo, I have several chronos. As said above, Adding the light kit solved my cranky Pro Chrono. Sadly their light kit is expensive and needs 120vac.....Caldwell has an LED light kit that with very little effort fits the Pro Chron and works off...

Need dovetail to Picatinny adapters for TX200/Pro Sport

Best quality that I have found is eaglevisoncam.com in uk. Expensive but very well made and low profile. Shipping to US is fast and reasonably priced. I have been pleasantly surprised by Mostrum of late.

    Norma 9.1 golden trophy ft , 50y

I made some positive comments about .177 Norma pellets and then saw a number of negative comments. I went back to my stash, and they are all "heavy" pellets (9.1gr). I'm not at all experienced with the lighter pellets. Glad to see the results H McN is getting..... I need more time with their...

    Parallax Wheel

If you go to a competition of any sort (I have, for decades, raced MC and shot both Olympic pistol and rifle as well as Air gun and the usual NRA rifle and pistol matches). When a person is competing, they reach a point where they wear a "race face". Leave them to their thoughts. I would never...

Oh USPS, let me count the ways I detest you

My local city post office has two drive up mailboxes for those who don't want to get out of their cars to go inside. There is a big sign saying that due to repeated ID theft do not post anything in these boxes that contain personal info. what a world we live in

    Parallax Wheel

Racer88 asked a rational Q. The FT competitions ban rangefinders so we do whatever is necessary to cheat. We turn our scopes into rangefinders..... Bigger wheels, more resolution of distance. Nautilus wheels, more resolution over a selected distance. We humans are innovative, rules, we don't...

Umarex Notos first shot is off

Many years ago, my powder burners were just fine and then, I got a chronograph. The powder burners suddenly became very ill. Not a one gave velocities anywhere close to published numbers.....beware the chrono

Umarex Notos first shot is off

I have not experienced large lateral shifts due to velocity variations. If this returns, you might try removing the two pins on the moderator and checking to see if the insert is loose or has debris that might on occasion hang into the shot path. A blast of air or two might shift it and that...

Umarex Notos first shot is off

In my recollection, whenever I had a random massive deflection like this it was a slightly loose barrel or moderator. A couple of shots shifted things to a happy place but when the gun was transported, it got out of whack. sorry, that's all I got, best of luck!
