I agree. I have a few Weihrauch rifles and they all needed a tune from the factory. The exception was a synthetic HW30. It came from the factory making the "thunk" sound and shoots a strong 600 fps with FTT's. Great little rifle.

The pressure setting should either make or break the rifle. Being able to lower the fps should make the rifle more manageable and perhaps more accurate. Supposed to have a decent trigger as well. Would be a great starter rifle for a young shooter. if they ever come available I might...

I agree completely. The Blue Streak was my first "real" pellet rifle. I found a NOS 1973 Blue Streak rifle still in the original box. Never been shot. I traded him a beat up R9 and I ran out of the building before he realized I had stolen his rifle.

I use a wooden box with a steel plate in the back and twenty pounds of duct seal in front. No ricochets and is silent. Works great for pistol work. I have a steel .22 trap for function checks. I wrap it in a blanket to control the sound level but it is still ear protection required loud.

On my HW77 the rear cap and the rifle tube did not line up exactly from the factory. This caused the dovetail to not line up. Yours might not be lined up exactly either. I had a hell of a time getting it to line up. I had to get creative with some leather and a wrench to get mine to line up...

Took the Walther LP400 out for a spin this weekend. This can was resting on a stick at thirty yards. 10 meter pistols are no joke. Probably 100 shots worth of damage. Wrecks HOSPs and Starlings around the feeder. Here is a shot from the deck to 30 yards. Added a picture of the Walther.
