FWB Feinwerkbau 150 - help needed

I have been unable to find the reference material that I mentioned earlier on the piston ring dimensions. It was on the old Yellow forum, and has been relegated to history now apparently... I did come across this write up though, and he measures 2 new rings and the old one in the rifle. I am...

    HW/Weihrauch Beeman 77 MK1 ball detent fixed

Invaluable information 👆 Glad to see it worked such a treat. I never would have guessed that it would require so little spring pressure to secure the lever. Congrats!

FWB Feinwerkbau 150 - help needed

While you are correct about the rings longevity, the FWB service guide does call out a dimension on the ring that is cause for removal and replacement. I wrote down the thickness of a brand new OEM FWB ring, and it was .036. Compare that to the other ring pictured earlier in this thread which...

FWB Feinwerkbau 150 - help needed

Tetra gun grease is a fluoropolymer lubricant that is readily available from a multitude of sources. I have used it to good effect in the past. A little goes a very long way. They also produce an oil with the same properties. Absolutely gorgeous examples on display gentlemen, thank you for...

FWB Feinwerkbau 150 - help needed

I always prefer to remove the ring to flush all the old gunk and funk out of the piston groove, then relube the ring. I am guessing that a good flush out with carb cleaner or a similar substance would serve the same purpose, I just do not feel whole unless I disassemble stuff down to component...

FWB Feinwerkbau 150 - help needed

As above, they are not really difficult to work on. If you watched and comprehended the videos on disassembly, you are entirely capable of doing a rebuild. Cautions The piston ring is brittle. It will flex enough for removal, but not much more than that and it will snap in half. I believe...

SSP 10 meter rifle… is the grass really greener?

I would suggest that you try some modification to your shooting position and see if it helps you out any. I found that my 603 Jr. behaves better if I cradle it or make my offhand into a V block of sorts instead of resting on top of a clenched hand, glove or not. It involves kicking your...

Air Arms Where to source a pro elite piston seal

I have had great luck in the past with ordering from Chambers and Knibs. They are helpful and handle shipping well, but unfortunately do not control the couriers or customs agents... I am gonna plug ProtekSupplies as well. Super helpful staff, and a deep supply of weird and wonderful parts...

    HW/Weihrauch Beeman 77 MK1 ball detent fixed

That looks spot on to the British ball cabinet latch that gets mentioned repeatedly on their forums. Product improved due to stainless construction I would think. Following with great interest. (y)

    HW/Weihrauch Beeman 77 MK1 ball detent fixed

It is common with the Mk1 rifles, and the Brit forums are full of workarounds and fixes for the condition. They vary from re staking the ball, to replacing it entirely with a new part from a cabinet shop...... There is also the swap it out for a Mk2 or 3 assembly crowd, but where is the fun in...

    Air Arms Latest addition

FX FX Wildcat Mk1 problem: leaks air (POP!) during shot at magazine. FIXED!

Check the cocking lever linkage to ensure that the pellet probe is not out of adjustment and is seating to the proper depth for the breech seal to work properly. Your slow leak over time is an O ring issue. Check the fill port check valve assembly with soapy water first, they are known to...

    HW35

I believe that the seals are same same between the two affixing methods mentioned above, but the filler piece is different between the two variants. One accommodates a simple screw, while the other accommodates a wider slotted nut to affix the seal. This is just supposition based on looking at...

What springer did you shoot today?

My only worry today was the temperature...... Your rifle motivated me to go Waltzing the Fraulein. She's a chunk, but such sweet manners......
