When I did Field Target, ranging was the challenge, not shooting a perfect score makes me want to improve. Even if range finders were allowed, you still have to know how to pull the trigger and all the details to go with it. Pellets don't always go where you want them.

Fabulous day, wind was very challenging. Welcome our new Shooter Tim who drove a great distance to join us. Shot slugs for the first time, quite an experience, then to shoot pellets though the same set up. One day I will get the hang of this. Bob welcome back. Looking forward to Sunday's match.

It’s nice to see the range from the higher number lanes. Maybe at the next match Ed you move to the lower numbers 🤣. (To those that have never been to Open Grove, there are only 14 lanes. The wind is different at each bench. Watching the wind flags tells the whole story).
