Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

I took months to research all the options. My initial thoughts were there was no way I would spend more than a few hundred dollars on an airgun, no matter if it's a PCP or a springer. As I read more and more, the motto buy once cry once became more evident. I narrowed down my choices and...

    Kral Arms My latest project

I have fallen in love with the Kral NP-02 in my search for my first pcp gun but I cannot seem to find a place to buy one. I noticed you know a lot about them. Any help you might offer? Thanks

First PCP package proposal: Sortie Tact + Pump

Hi again! I posted an intro last week, and got an amazing welcome, and a ton of schooling. I'm one week deeper into the rabbit hole, and my mind is still blown. But, I need to ask some questions to learn. I think I'm going ease my way into this mania gradually. I don't have the knowledge...

Diana Have you folks used .177 cal felt cleaning pellets?

In a PCP or co2 they will be okay I believe. But could possibly reek some havoc on the internals of a spring-piston

Other Just how much must I pay for "Accuracy" in a PCP gun?

No! That was one of the first things I researched before buying my first Springer..... and then double checking before that the first PCP gun arrived..... and am glad I did! Otherwise I would have whipped out the bronze bore brushes and the CLP, and very like would have wrecked a brand new...

Brocock/BRK Can moisture in a PCP affect accuracy?

...whole thread but you must have a chronograph to determine anything with an airgun. Secondly, it may be time to clean the barrel. For your first PCP you certainly got yourself a good one. Moisture is a big deal, those of us on here that are serious about keeping our guns in good shape have...

    Springer vs. PCP

Good plan. It gives you the opportunity to experience "adult" airguns. You may, or may not progress to PCPs, but even if you do, the 34 is a quality piece that is handy to have around. It has been the universal recommendation for a first airgun for many years.

    Buy once, cry once.

...I keep telling newbies, the fx impact or any 2k-3k gun shouldn't be their first. Newbies buys a new fx impact m4 and brag about its their first pcp. Like wtf. So what. Lmao. Then they cry how to turn it. How to fix leakings, reg creep. Ect. My first pcp was the benjamin marauder. I learn how...

if I may interject an observation about springers and pcps is this

I have to ask if youve ever tuned an fx on a cool day and brought it out into serious heat? It's living, breathing, cranky and likely to make you wonder if you ever chrono'd, tuned or zeroed the rifle till you learn their personality 🤣 I love this topic because I'm a pump/pcp/co2 guy but only...

    Side lever breech

My first PCP was a .22 Huntsman. Easy to hand pump, accurate, light weight, quiet. Was one of the only left handed rifles around when I fell into this rabbit hole. Still have it, shoots better than I do.

    New FX product

Honestly, I think it looks really nice If you told me this is an Air Rifle, my first thought would be it looks like a high end Airsoft rifle rather than a PCP Prices do not seem extravagant I'm sure there will be a lot at RMAC
