Wish more members here with BSA's could be more reactive. Although I don't have the R10 but others I find to be real nice. More traditional in a way if there is such a thing in a recent trend. Like all sporting guns and gear I lean towards the older school of thought. Just some ramblings here...

AOA has the R10 marked down to 699.00 which is a killer deal, I think they were a bit higher then that awhile back. Well Ive been adding one to my cart and taking it out for the last couple months but at that price it stayed in this time so should be getting it next week sometime hopefully...

If you want a trouble free PCP, the closest is a one o'ring (on the bottle) older non regulated Rapid, simple built to last and yup, just ONE O'ring! But, your BSA R10 is as good as it gets at 50yds.

You experience is directly the opposite of mine with my own .177 BSA R10 Mk2. I has been superb in every aspect. One of my finest walnut and steel, traditionally styled rifles and a great value at $890 from Airguns of Arizona.

The one without the thumbhole stock is $799.00 on their site. I want one! $899.00 for thumbhole stock.
