When actually shot, the projectile will be swaged into a different shape in three steps: 1. The initial very rapid, very high, differential pressure across the projectile acting against the inertia and drag that is resisting acceleration. 2. Bore dimensions as the projectile accelerates down...
I'm selling my M3FXImpact in Bronze .25 cal with 700mm barrel. Gun is in excellent condition and is tuned to FX or JSB 34 grain pellets at right around 900 fps and is very accurate. Shoots JSB Hades very well to just have to adjust Macro wheel. Comes with Saber Tactical bag rider and Donny FL...
I would recommend the fximpact. either the M3 or the M4. they are lights out accurate at 100 yards out of the box. Plus they are super easy to tune for different types of pellets and weights. it 100% cannot be beat. They are simple to use and at least for me I haven't had any issues out of...
Another tip now that you have it at your disposal. You'll need a chronograph, but use your valve adjuster to get it as consistent as possible, don't just run it wide open unless that is the most consistent for your tune. It's a real treat to have when searching for air efficiency.
If it's your M3Impact I'd gladly try to help you out. I'm in southern Ohio but shipping here and back might be about the same cost as fuel and time if you were willing to drive a bit anyway. I'm the senior airgun tech for PA/AV and spend 80% of my time refurbishing and repairing FX guns for them.
And 1050 starts to bring in the wackiness im fighting with 150 bar and the tungsten hammer weight. Transonic flight, ocassionally supersonic noise (big problem for me) and the BC fluctuating due to this.... Messing up my fancy ballistics table referencing range finding/holdover solving optic...
Congrats on your new Impact, they can be a blast if you like to fidget. You might find the tungsten hammer weight too heavy when you start tuning. It has caused a lot of frustration for FX owners. We found 150-160Bar to be about the minimum setting the tungsten actually starts to balance out. If...
Who ever told you it's normal is lying, i completely forgot about that. Anytime i've tuned a compact m3 I have to loosen the shroud to increase the valve adjuster. Then tighen the shroud against the valve without moving the valve. But this is for higher power set ups. You can try it and see...
Hello all first post random question… I have an ImpactM3 compact and I shoot pellets only in .177 and .30 in 500mm with superior stx barrels. I have first regulator at 155 factory and my second at 110 which I have heard is basically as high as you want to go with the stock hammer. This is my...
Kraford and Lypt 0.177: SaberTactical 0.30: #1) accuracy - both have been batch tested then tuned to the specific diabolo for accuracy and meet my standards. #2) tuneability - The FXImpact is known for its tunability. #3) smooth shot cycle: crisp, quiet SNAP! - When correctly tuned and...

Hello mate,i also bought FXImpact compact 25 but M4 version, what was the 28gr slugs u used, and what are the settings if you could share,i have slug liner 500mm,and pin probe, dual airflow ofcourse, thank you on answer.
Hello there, First of all nice to be here. Now the problem. I was shooting with my FXImpactM3 today. Trying out the 30gr from H&N in cal .250. Those were not exiting. So i switched back to the 42gr. same caliber. But what i recognized was that i only was shooting the 42gr with 700fps. The...
As RatRacer mentioned, you will need a chronograph before you start working on tuning the gun. I suspect that you will have issues similar to mine. I own an FXImpactM3 700mm 22cal and I'm struggling to tighten my groups at 100m with JSB slugs 25.39 gr. The length of your barrel will...
I don’t think guys are breaking valve rods. Unless you heard something I didn’t. Several people have posted pictures of the valve rod near the plenum and there’s black grease. Or is it silicone that’s contaminated? The one dude, who only seems to post when he’s drunk, showed a picture of the...
@Joedirt199 has a valid point in my opinion. Every gun is different, and copying tunes from sources will only get you in the ballpark. Tuning yourself is not that hard, and will give you better results for your specific gun. I learnt it in the youtube videos as well, and it doesn't need so much...
