I'm looking for a multi-pump air rifle from a Mfg. who has consistent Quality Control... Any suggestions?

...maybe that with the low prices no one has high expectations but I'm not sure. I may have to give up my search for a multi-pump and go with a break-barrel but for now I would like for my first air rifle to be an accurate and reliable multi-pump... Any comments or suggestions would be...

    The $2000 dollar gun.

I really like both my Huben K1 and my Sidewinder. The combination of semi-auto and first rate accuracy is nice. There are several side lever guns that will deliver marginally better accuracy though, so if shooting one hole groups at 50 yards is what you want then that's what you might want...

Sacramento Valley Field Target ( SVFTC ) March 2025 Jim Cyran Memorial Match "RESULTS"

What a great tribute to a great guy and airgun fanatic. I first met Jim Cyran a few years back when he posted on one of the airgun websites "help needed" in the Cleveland Ohio area. Jim was flying in to visit relatives and shoot in NOA's Burning River 120 Grand Prix (or Pyramyd Air GP Event, I...

    Benjamin Optimum velocity

MOST pellets like to be in the 800 - 900 fps range out of a PCP. I suggest starting on the low end and see how the groups are and go from there. There are a lot of videos on the subject. I would start there first so you do not reinvent the rifle tunes.

Need help to buy first PCP air rifle for hunting small game

Daystate Huntsman. Not the used one in classified. New with the 5 year warranty. I wouldnt even consider the Zelos compared to the Daystate.

    Crossman 760, so disappointing.

A 760 was the second airgun I ever had, (the first was a Daisy that was destroyed when our house was burglarized), but I don’t have any nostalgia for it. I saved up for a 766 and that outclassed the 760. I’m actually extremely disappointed with the state of multipump rifles. There’s no...

    Umarex Gauntlet 30 dumps air

I know this is a old post but I found when pumping my Umarex Gauntlet Gen 2 in 30 cal that the valve doesn't start to fully seat until you hit around 1,000 PSI and 1,200 PSI. The more air that's put into the 393cc tank past 1,000 - 1,200 PSI the better the seat gets. This is why I'm sure 95% of...

    Gamo Bone Collector speed test

First off, very few manufacturers tell you the truth about velocity and accuracy, while it may be technically the truth that they got 1100 FPS out of their test rifle, but they don't tell you that it was the best of many tests using the lightest pellets and in the best clinical windless...

    New FX product

I doubt that. Caliber is limited to.25 and although it has decent power, it’s not to the level many push them to. It just doesn’t appear to be a competition gun.

CS4 arrived, my first pcp compressor.

Get an FX Impact M4 or a Karma SLS rifle. You can thank me later. Also, I'd ditch that gold filter and go with the GX Official filter.

    New to air guns

If you're new, do not buy an fx. Wait until you have some experience with the nuance of pcp stuff. How much are you willing to spend? How mechanically inclined are you?

The best All around Air rifle scope

That's like asking what's the best airgun....or best pizza, or best movie. You need to narrow it down a little

    Chronograph With Bullet Hole

I had a "shooting chrony" I think it was for several decades but shot it one too many times trying to get a reading on an air rifle indoors. I don't plan to get another and the expense of a dopler one seems like a waste. The little cheap ones do not miss shots and can be right at the muzzle of...

    Centerfire v. Air

I've not divested but have switched to exclusively air. All my buddies shoot both but we only air rifle hunt together(all springer guys) And I was pump 22, then got a marauder 25. Over the next 15 years the safe didn't get opened much, to only for maintenance cleaning. I got an impact m3...
