Air Arms would like to know - Do you remember your first air rifle?

Listen up Air Arms! My first decent air rifle that I bought for myself was a break barrel that didn't weigh any 9+ lbs. More like 7.5 Still no interest in a porky Air Arms.

Airforce Worst PCP ever and I am ashamed that I fibbed.

An Airforce Talon was also my very first PCP. I bought it from Talon Tunes. It was customized and had a really nice moderator that Tony built. It was my first pcp rifle and I learned a lot while I owned it. I agree that it wasn’t very consistent and precision wasn’t its best feature. I’m glad...

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

Most scopes dedicated to airguns don't necessarily handle recoil very well. Some springers , and gas rams can destroy those scopes. Edit : You can use any rifle scope on a airgun , but not a airgun scope on a rifle. I actually did this once , and on the first shot with my .308 it turned the...

HW/Weihrauch First post: HW30s just sat there in it’s box!

Hi all, this is my first post so please be patient! I got the happiest of things this week; a brand new air rifle! Due to unhappier circumstances, it is still sat there, unopened in it’s shipping box. Staring at me! I have heard there is joy in the anticipation, but I am starting to...

    Crossman 760, so disappointing.

I’m sorry for the disappointment but I did enjoy your post. I too had a Crosman 760 as my very first air rifle. I received it as a Christmas gift in 1979. I shot that rifle as often as I could and there is no telling how many unfortunate birds fell to that pump gun. I still have it in my safe...

    Taipan My first Taipan Purchase

Been away from the airgun scene for awhile and just got back into it again, so many rifles to choose from these days, had a lot of air rifles over the years, owned pretty much all of the top tier brands but I always got rid of them for some reason or another and seemed to only keep the bullet...

What did you do airgun related today.

I had a grand time with an Air Chrony mk3 that came in today. Checked 6 air pistols and one of the rifles and learned first hand the difference between the velocity's of each and then each one with different weight pellets. This for me was lots of fun as I miss the days of designing rounds and...

What springer did you shoot today?

    Your favorite single shot fired

As far as air rifle, the first time I tried cutting a card. Hit it the first shot. I was only 5 yards or so but that’s where I had to be to see the edge with the diopter sights

No. As I said, it came from Robert Law/Air Rifle Headquarters, the first company from West Virginia.

Airforce Is Airforce Talon .177 (no P, no SS) backyard friendly if I tune it down to 700-750 fps ?

I want to buy my first PCP but most rifles around 500-600$ that shoot .177 are way too big. And only talon that look good, compact, no air leakage review. Only problem that the noise is level 5. Im broke so cant spend 100$ for talonSS and another few hundred buck for a silencer. TY!

Trying to research and understand which types of filters are preferred and where best to install them on a new airgun compressor.

I didn't want to risk derailing a recent thread but soon I'll have my first air rifle and compressor and was trying to understand/learn more about the use and placement/orientation of the various associated filters. Please excuse the naive nature of the question. As I understand it, ambient...

Air Arms would like to know - Do you remember your first air rifle?

I still own it. Benjamin 392 was the first rifle in the 90s. I call the pic the first and the last. Last is a lie.

N/A Suggestions on first PCP, small game hunting, and having fun.

Prefer a semi-auto, compact as possible, and quiet with a moderator. The new homes near the farm are roughly 35 yards away, and our property moves away from them. I have been compiling a list of ones to consider. Will shoot for fun as well, but many small pests are showing up. We are settled in...

Kral Arms A question for you "Unregulated PCP tuners"

Thanks Troy, I get what Motorhead was doing now. The 1,400+ccs of air he mentioned didn’t register in my head at first - Wow - that’s an AIR rifle, lol. Can’t really run a full shot string with that much air. -Ed

    Centerfire v. Air

...I could get multiple cans (moderators) without any NFA BS to shoot in my backyard, I looked further into it. Then, when I bought my first air rifle (Bulldog M357 because I have lead/molds as a reloader) with a DonnyFL can and saw how awesome today’s PCP weapons are, I got hooked. I also...
