    Best portable compressor?

Looking to buy a portable comoressor who also can works with air tanks..

Trying to research and understand which types of filters are preferred and where best to install them on a new airgun compressor.

Some compressors already have a built in filter, some don't and the quality of them can differ significantly. I have a GX CS-4 that has an internal filter that does a pretty good job at catching moisture, but living in a humid climate like Florida, I like to hinge my bets and ensure no moisture...

    New member and airgun noob

These guys have a good reputation. A lot of people say buy through Amazon for the warranty. Which ever model you choose, make sure it has auto shut off. Get one that will fill your rifle directly. This one is pretty badass...

    HPA Compressor Crossroads…?🙈

I have a YH that is about 4 years old. I use it to fill an "expired" Scott 45 minute bottle. Noisy but works fine. I've added two small computer radiators, a little big bigger water pump, and a 8 inch fan on the motor. I fill my bottle with runs of about a half hour without exceeding 60...

    Travel compressor help needed

No matter WHICH portable you decide upon you'll do it a big service by not running your tank below 200 bar. Might have to top off a little more often but compressor run time will be shorter. Rule #1 with ALL inexpensive compressors is BE KIND to it! You'll be glad you did. Have a safe trip!

Brocock/BRK Solution for Two Air Rifles: One a Probe the Other a Foster?

I'm sure this is a common scenario. My T Veteran uses a probe to fill. My in-coming Ghost uses a foster fitting. I have a portable air compressor (GX3-I). Is there a way to avoid having to change out the compressor fill hose fitting to work for both guns? Thanks

    Compressor Purchase Help

I have been looking at the GX E5K2 and the Omega Air Charger 4500psi Compressor, but I still have not decided which one yet. I will be filling 75 and 100 cu-ft air tanks that we use. I already own the CS1-I portable pump, and that has been working great for topping up the air guns!!

    Carbon fiber tank question

...But if I want to shoot a lot the bottle will get empty and because it's expired getting it filled is not simple. But a little portable compressor would work fine if a little slowly for lots of refills. So bottle + bigger compressor for local and small battery capable compressor for longer...

    Compressor use hack

Here is a tip that I read about someplace that works so I will pass it on . Use a portable fan in conjunction with your compressor to keep it cool while filling . While topping off a bottle with a cheap compressor I watched the temp quickly rise to 50 and climbing . I put the portable fan on it...

    Compressor to fill 9L bottle.

I think the GX CS4i or CS4 (external converter) would work especially filling in increments. Amazon has both on sale with discounts available. GX PUMP CS4 Portable PCP Air Compressor, 350W Powerful Motor,Max 5800Psi/40Mpa, Water and Fan Cooling, 5 Hours Continous Work, 12V Auto Stop PCP Air...

Filter valve when not in use

My setup is a bit different because I deal with good bit of humidity so I went a bit over kill. Because mine takes alot of air I leave some level of pressure in it. And because of all the o-rings involved I consider it like an air gun which kept under some pressure. I always bleed moisture out...

AEAC Video Review - JTS Comp100 Liquid Cooled Portable Airgun Compressor

It all depends on your needs. Compressors get a little more expensive if you want portability, larger capacity fills, faster fills, less noise or greater longevity/build quality. The less expensive compressors work great to fill most guns If that's all you need. Some compressors have been...
