SOLD Very little used GX pump with one battery. It works great. Reaches 4500 psi in less than 12 seconds. I am simply going to something bigger. Has less than 1 hour running time. Batteries are all hardly used. Asking 175.00 shipped to conus. Also you can see some extra items...110V adaptor...
You can fill from a hand pump or smaller easily portablecompressor but in all cases you need to filter out water. The least expensive pumps seem to need added filtration.
I use a GX CS4-i to top off 9 liter tanks. The compressor is perfect for this task. One other member of this board has used the same compressor to fill a 9 liter tank from zero. It took over 5 hours of continuous running as I recall. Obviously, the compressor will fill from zero but I don't...
If you need more that 4500 psi and don't need portability, get a 6000 psi steel tank and fill with the new AEA 7000 psi compressor or a CS4 if 5800 is enough. If you don't need speedy refills a CS4 can go to 5800 and be powered with batteries if needed.
Just my experience... Before these 12v portablecompressors went mainstream I would take my YH compressor with me to my Sister's place and weekends in the RV at the ATV park. I would use it only to top off guns. I would use a large Folgers coffee container for cooling. If the water got too warm...
And now for something completely different.... Why not just get one of many portablecompressors on the market today? I have a GX CS3-e that runs on 110v or 12v. I also have a Yong Heng and a Vevor (YH knockoff) that I use at home for filling guns. But the CS3 is a great grab and go compressor...
For portable I like 2L or 3L and a backpack. At home when working on guns overnight I have several 9L & 6.8L bottles. All of mine are CE certified and you have to fill those at home as Dive Shops and various other locations will require the MUCH more expensive DOT certified. You have a...
It is now $299 but this is the one I use: CS2 Portable PCP Air Compressor, 4500Psi/30Mpa, Oil-Free,Powered by Car 12V DC or Home 110V AC with Adapter (Included), Paintball Tank Compressor with Extra Moisture-Oil Separator...
I believe GX recommends the CS4 up to 6.8 liter and the CS5 above that. There is a one and a two cylinder CS5. It would be nice to know whether it is ever money well spent to go "above" one of the GX pumps. The temperature test Target Forge did on the CS2 was impressive - never got to 90 F in...
...think that the little tampon thing that came with the compressor would do much if anything at all. However, with these little portablecompressor, adding a huge water separator would make little sense, as filling up the separator itself would take almost as filling the bottle in the gun...
Glad you asked. If you are serious about purchasing a portablecompressor my suggestion is to look at the GX brand. You will be able to find then being sold at Amazon, Ebay, AliExpress and even Walmart. I have a GX CS1 & GX CS1-I compressors that have served me over three years without being...
I bought a rifle/compressor combo because I needed to kill a woodchuck terrorizing our garden, and can't shoot a standard rifle in our town. Well, they did their job quickly... and frankly I don't need them anymore. I'm not an air rifle hobbyist, just a homeowner who had a job to do. This...
I have a small portable carbon-fiber buddy bottle. It is approx 100 cubic inches in volume. I can and have filled it from my Alkin compressor. When filling from empty the bottle became very warm around 150 bar. At that point I shut everything off and let the bottle cool for about 90 minutes...
I was given this compressor ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7C8D35G?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ) as a reward for helping someone out its new, never been out of the box . To me it looks like a Yong Heng knockoff. I currently have a Daystate compressor that’s my everyday go to for...
The hand pump can inflate PCP cylinders as well as mini diving cylinders and also tyres, it's portable and much lighter than a compressor, 2.8kg, 6.17lbs.
