Discovery makes some nice scopes for the money 👍. I have a couple older models I have had since 2014 and they still work flawlessly.

Maybe try and range something as close to the target as possible that you can see clearly through the scope for ranging purposes....

I have no issues with said slugs with the OEM mags or after market ones...h'mmm...but, I single shot load (CARM) at home but use mags when pesting. My RAW is a 2017 HMx, it has the smaller breech and thinner mags, it also has an OEM small plenum extension.

I too shoot my RAW off a front bipod with a rear lab rest...accuracy is dependent on me doing my part for a consistent hold and sight. Mine is tuned to shoot JSB 18gr @ 970fps about 37fpe.

Mine is tuned to shoot JSB 18gr @ 970fps and reallly likes NSA 17.5gr/20.2gr .2175 at that tune the 17.5gr fly @ 950fps.....so yeah, mines barrel likes them!

Mine is a dedicated ratter and it's absolutely perfect for that job! It's also a fun plinker at shorter distances.

RAW HMx .22, shots were from 40-100yds with NSA 17.5gr @ approximately 950fps. Little to no wind much to our delight!

You're welcome! I too pest for ground squirrels @ my friends place so I know how wind can effect POI with my .22's especially with pellets less with slugs.

Great shooting and nice pics! Any wind while pesting for ground squirrels makes consistent POI tough, you did great!

I myself prefer regulated as the FPS is so consistent which like said above helps immensely with accuracy. Each shot, the report/sound is also the same from a regulated PCP.

RAW, Brocock, Airmaks, FX, Huben. I have a RAW Chassis in .22 and it's over a pound lighter than the wood versions. You couldn't go wrong with any on your list. I send my RAW directly to Martin, the man who built mine for servicing. You also might add a Taipan Vet 2 to your list.
