Yeah been playing Paintball since early 90s and that’s the only high pressure tanks I’ve seen fail and all due to the player and not the tank itself.I have also seen Paintball shops refuse to fill a tank because of the ruff condition and not it being outta date or expired. Lol pb tanks see alot of action compared to my airpacks .:)

Ooh to answer the question, I have never had a tank fail a hydro test.
I purchased 2 scuba tanks in the late 80s and have always kept them in good standing without any issues or problems. I now have the same 2 scuba tanks as well as 2 Scott 88 airpacks and all good.
If the government says (as long as the airpacks can pass testing you can keep them in service), I wouldn’t mind a yearly visual and 3 year hydro if over the 15 year mark.:)
