Has anyone else seen similar? BTW,  I have checked the string and over 40 shots had a 20fps spread which is not mind blowing but also does not seem terrible.

Sorry to say, but yes.  I have a 3 month old .22 Wildcat that’s doing the exact same thing.   4 or 5 shots on top of each other, then the next 4 or 5 are grouping somewhere else or all over.  Two different scopes, same results.  I did notice that it started grouping 1 1/4″ high at 50 yard, so the next shot I put the crony on it, 1002 fps. Next shots, back to normal.  It normally shoots at about 875 average.  I was thinking of having it tuned by one of the guys on this forum, but I was reminded that would void the warranty.  Don’t know what to do at this point.
