Sounds to me you will need a base with moa built into it or an adjustable mount so you can put your crosshairs on the target. If I was intending to do a lot of shooting at 100 yard I would want a scope of at least 20x and very good glass too. I have some high dollar scopes on my firearms with great glass like Bushnell Elites, Sightrons, Burris and Nightforce. I have yet to put a high dollar scope on any of my airguns. I don’t know how good the glass is on the Hawkes which so many use. Bill
