If you can hit a nickel sized target consistently at the range you’re hunting, you should be good. Resist the temptation to take shots beyond the range you can consistently hit. Practice a lot before you go after live targets, a good way to build skill is to walk around plinking at bits of bark, leaves etc. at random distances. This will help you estimate ranges and hold over or under at different distances, not mention it’s fun! Remember to check your zero the day you hunt, sometimes your scope may wander or your hold is slightly different, better to find out before you take that important shot.
