It appears to me that you need to back the power down a tad. If you could get that pellet to shoot from 870 to 905 then back to 870 would be a good bell curve. To achieve this with most guns, you would back off the hammer spring tension. I’m not familiar with the adjustment on the Wolverine. I did have an Air Ranger. With that platform you could change the spring guide size, take away spacers or add spacer to (less tension on the spring less power). You could also adjust the throw on the hammer which controls the amount of momentum it has. This style is not as straight forward to adjust but again I’m not certain of the Wolverine platform. Regardless, you have to realize that you may void the warranty if you open the action up. You mentioned you’re new to this, so it may not be a good idea to begin modding a new Daystate.
