I appreciate that we’re all from different parts of the world, different things apply and maybe you’re hunting in some vastly different terrain than I do, but I tend to carry as little as possible when I’m out with my air rifle.  I’ll take pellets, and some water for myself, and a knife either in my pocket or on my belt – but rarely much more than that.  Of course, I’ll have food and a first aid kit in the car, but not much more than that to be honest.  I’ve never owned a rangefinder – but if I did, that would of course come with me.

Shooting a lower power as I’ve always done in the UK means it’s highly unlikely that you’ll ever run out of air whilst out, so I’ve never needed to carry an air source – maybe if I’m planning a longer day with a prolonged zero session I’ll put the scuba tank in the car too.
