When I shoot for accuracy I shoot 5 shot groups.  Irrelevant where they hit.  All I am worried about is they hit same spot into tiny little hole.  A few examples.

Good shooting ! The FB 300S is an excellent match target rifle.

I normally shoot 5 shots groups as well. By shooting a single shot into a small dot you still have a way of determining a group pattern. If one shot hits 1" low and 1/2" left of centerline, and the next ( on a different dot) hits 1" low and 1/2" right of centerline,  you have a horizontal spread of of 1".  If you shoot a single shot on five dots, and then overlay all five shots, a group pattern should emerge.  And it should be consistent with a single dot shot at five times. Unorthodox?? Yes, maybe so, but the results should be close to each other.
