Matt,

Thanks for the compliment. I was sick for the tail end of the week and was getting antsy sitting around the house, so I wandered into the garage/shop and the lathe cried out for a sacrifice. I willingly complied. It only took about 10 minutes to strip the barrel out of the gun and another 30 minutes to shorten the barrel, re-crown it and then shorten the shroud. Even fiddling around with installing the baffle, filling the bottles and reassembly, I had about 2 hours invested into it total. The funny part was the baffle unit I had made didn't make any improvement in my Artemis P15, but it significantly reduced the sound signature on the BSA. My phone app for a decibel meter pegs this at 82db. I have always had an affinity for short rifles and I know that BSA made one similar, but never saw one in the flesh, so I made my own.

It helps when your garage is, for all practical purposes, a machine shop ?
