For many years now I've found no need for any pellets other than domed JSBs. Simply a matter of which JSB shoots best in any given gun; more often than not just a matter of matching pellet weight to power. For example, this .34" center-to-center five-shot group was shot at 50 yards with 8.4 grain JSB Exact domes at 760 FPS with an Allen Zasadny modified Steyr LP-1 PISTOL. But for the sake of full disclosure, the gun averaged .56" c-t-c groups at 50 yards.
