I have the .22HP grey on red laminate, some of the cons I too thought about and have since worked out.

The case – Well for the price point I'm just plain let down with any new Daystate case. They are too small and just plain suck, so glad i didn't have to get one with this HP version and be let down again.

Cleaning – use a straw and i have not had any issues with patch worm at all.

The battery – IMO everyone is bashing but no real facts have come up yet. Any fires? Anyone getting low shot count? So it's a cheap lipo, does it work? Yes. Does it give me several tins of pellets without recharge? Yes.

Charger – Mine didn't come with an adapter for USA plugs so I ordered one off amazon for 5 bucks. This I blame on the dealer more than anyone, I could have done some splicing but no need.

The map compensating – Has been around for a long time and proven. Facts – it gives very little ES, large shot count and works.

Length – Agree the gun is long but if you did your homework that shouldn't be a surprise. I knew what I was getting and no it's not a BP but still manageable.

I think every gun can be improved upon and I hope every company keeps looking at innovative ways to do so. Fukochan has some very valid points in his review. Very nice rifle and I thoroughly enjoy shooting mine.
