Gary sends you questions. I measured LOP and sent him a tracing of my hand. We discussed options and what I wanted. Because I wanted to maintain the one of main attractions to the Hunter Scout….sporting use.  My actual LOP is on the short side (even he remarked) at about 2.75".  But, I asked him to make it more like 13" so, IF I ever decided to resale the rifle my market would be larger than 4th or 5th graders. ?  I adjust the trigger shoe to the right which gives me a nice placement for the trigger finger. Of course you also choose the color of wood, if laminate, that you want. I chose Field and Stream because I wanted a bit of blue and brown in the stock.  Mountain Camp is also nice but without the blue. I realize that blue is a color birds can see, but I don't hunt birds with an air rifle. Squirrels don't see blue which is too bad for them. (I'm retired wildlife biologist).

The order was placed via e-mail. I paid $200 down and a bit over $800 the week the stock was being built. This included what was more than $100 for shipping (to AoA and them to me).  Gary was terrific to deal with in terms of discussing options and explaining the AoA link of this shipping project.

P.S. When he asked for my I.Q. he told me that didn't have a caliber that low. ?
