I guess that is it, @crusher. 1.25" @ 100 yd / 0.28" @ 50 yd = 4.5. Ted discounts the first shot due to wind at 100 yd which looks to be 1" from the rest (if these are 1" circles) which to me seems like a lot when he says the 0.17" difference between the liners are significant at 50 yd. Now that I think about it, you probably can't subtract two CTC measurements as they express a distribution of the data points.
