I've used a .22 34 carbine and enjoyed it very much. The owner had taken the barrel down to 10" and used the HONKING large 12ounce muzzle break at first then switched to a solid delron MB of equal diameter to the original. Cocking was still very easy, accuracy outstanding and the carbine length  just really made it shoulder well.

  Also except for age effecting things for me these days I also like the RWS 48/54 with an 8" sleeved barrel.

Right spot and time these day's you could get a NIB 34 for under $200 , chop it professionally & add MB ( compact pro MB used to be $40 but IS 12oz ) and your still under $300 and the T06 trigger while different is as good as your other 2.

 There all fun.
