I have done the same thing 30cal. What is best is when the tank’s pressure drops to the guns max fill pressure. When this happens, I open the valve and leave it open and shoot my heart out without having to top up for an eternity. Also, the constant stable pressure is priceless.

I’m curious, would anyone be interested in buying a $195 inline adjustable regulator that attaches between the DIN valve on the tank and the fill hose?
