Out shooting targets with my good buddy and his new .22HMR last year. We were shooting from the driver side while resting the rifles on the hood with bags. I shot, he shot, etc. well somehow between loading our positions shifted and like others, my scope was clear, but my muzzle wasn’t. I ended up splitting his antenna right in half. We didn’t know WHAT had happened initially. The twang of it hitting the antenna was deafening and we were incredibly confused. 2-3 minutes later we were ROLLING when we figured out what had happened. Luckily it didn’t ricochet back at us or laterally into his window. Needless to say we don’t shoot off his truck (or mine) anymore.
