I know I’m waaaay late on this, but I thought I would add. I got a Hatsan 125 two days ago. I’m 16, and I weigh 130lbs soaking wet… In 48 hours I’ve put over 700 shots through mine, and at fifteen yards, it’s hole in hole… I haven’t put it on paper at 50 yards yet, with the crosman premiers… The crosman hollowpoints at fifty yards go about 4″, but they really just don’t shoot that well anyhow. I’m going to get JSB Diablo Exacts, and H&N Snipers and try them, as I think a heavier pellet will shoot a lot nicer. Anyhow, I’d really recommend the Hatsan 125 over the Trail XL, and while I never shot the Trail XL (I have handled them, and they don’t have as nice of a feel imho, but that may be a bit biased), I can tell you from comparing the two air rifles for a year, that the 125 is almost definitely a better buy.
And it’s not a hard gun to cock once broke in… Or shoot for that matter… The vortex one at least :)
