Agree the cost will be considerably more. If it were me I would save more money before buying. I have very accurate 177’s shooting 19 – 20 fpe that shoot steady 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. After 60 yards groups open up in any type of wind.

From 1st hand experience 25 -26 fpe with heavy(13+ grain) 177 pellets will stay stable at longer distances(60 – 65 yards). The power difference from 19 – 20 fpe to 25 – 26 fpe is huge. Much more noticeable than going from 25 to 30 fpe or 30 to 35 fpe.

That said I would be very happy with an FX 400 or Renegade.
