“Sam63”A couple of posts on AGN where guys are not happy with the scope rail on the Renegade. One guy posted he was getting POI changes constantly. The front part of the rail sits on the barrel/shroud. Do a google search.

The Harper valve is efficient but not as good as a regulator. FX uses ST barrels know to be accurate with JSB’s and not much else. The Renegade has an LW barrel that will be accurate with JSB’s and other pellet brands. If I were choosing it would be the FX 400.

I own a .22 FX independence and a .22 FX Royale 400 and they both shoot many different brands of pellets very well.  About the only brand/type of pellet I have found that they do not like are wadcutters, of all brands.  I cannot get wadcutters to shoot from these rifles with  any degree of accuracy.  I keep reading on air gun forums where FX rifles shoot only one brand of pellet well, but I have found the exact opposite to be true.
