Even the metal valve stems have problems, not so much the breaking of the metal pin but the separating of the delrin seat
Below is a quote from Charlie Frear on the Cricket valve stem.
“The metallic part of the stem does not break, it is the delrin seat that comes loose from it’s seated position on the stem that causes the failure. At this point whether the stem is made of aluminum or titanium would make no difference.”
But in my opinion……..as for Crosman ……they should make the head of that stem out of metal one would think?
