“bent”Paio,

The first link you posted for “SuperLube” — this is NOT a silicone grease, beware.

On the same amazon page that the link posts to is a link to this stuff, which IS a silicone grease.

https://www.amazon.com/Molykote-Lubricant-Repackaged-Applications-Resistant/dp/B00X7JXM4C/ref=pd_sim_328_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00X7JXM4C&pd_rd_r=3WRKCWJ29GXVQH6K0MWD&pd_rd_w=muY0p&pd_rd_wg=IRGDi&psc=1&refRID=3WRKCWJ29GXVQH6K0MWD

The company I work for uses a lot of EPDM o-rings, which will swell/be attacked by petroleum products, and we have to be fairly careful to find good quality silicones; the Molykote is one we trust.  Except that now I can’t get the troops to stop calling it Moly grease. :-/

Thank you bent. I ‘ve seem some people using it and I never questioned the product. The viscosity and appearance looks like a silicone sort of oil but in fact it is not!

I was really concerned (because recently a changed some o’rings in my Wildcat) and I looked in my tooling case to see the lubricant. What I use is the following: https://www.amazon.com/Super-Lube-92003-Lubricating-Translucent/dp/B0081JE0OO/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1487352314&sr=8-10&keywords=silicone+lubricating+compound

Not the synthetic grease I wrongly posted before.
