Have you also considered the Walther LGV and LGU Varmint? Those are some pretty nice springers, too. A friend of mine owns the LGV in .177 and its accuracy really impressed the hell out of me. Not only the accuracy but also the consistency and smooth shooting. It doesn´t even feel like a springer. It is so smooth that I could swear it is a gas ram and that thing shot with a spread of no more than 7 fps… again and again and again. 760 fps with 8.4 gr JSBs, lowest 757, highest 764.
I have to honestly admit that I have no idea how good/bad these rifles are with servicing but so far, I haven´t heard or read about any breakdown or significant issues with the relatively complicated mechanism.
