Somebody who knows the history of Edgun can probably speak to this better than I, but as I remember hearing the story, Ed did this on purpose. They marked the gun .22 cal but the gun was really .25 cal. The reason if memory serves was that they were to get them thru customs? Seems the .22 was acceptable but the .25 was going to prove to be some kink of logistics nightmare? I am thinking that there was some Russian law that they were trying to skirt by and this was how they did it. Anyone else know the facts on this?
