It can be difficult for sure for a new person who may not be able to afford (or just doesnt want to spend the cash) for the latest and greatest. The thing with a hobby forum is many folks have moved on to the best of the best chasing 'the one'. That doesn't mean that there arent a plethora of good and inexpensive guns out there that will do the job. I think you'll find what you've already noticed here to be common in any forum dedicated to a specific genre and as such, take much of it with a grain of salt. Bear with it here... there are plenty of helpful folks who can guide without shame and offer real life practical experience without trying to squeeze every last dollar out of your savings.
