Umarex Gauntlet Stock Conversion

Hi, been lurking for a while, decided to share my current setup as my first post.

I currently own two Gauntlets, one in .177 and the other in .25. I decided recently I wanted to switch it up a little, did some research, and came up with this.

I can answer any questions you might have. It's a really simple conversion and to say that I am happy with it in its current form would be an understatement.

is there anyway to get that new style factory barrel band for the

older gauntlets ?

i have installed the bottle/barrel clamp and it works very well with shifting poi.

also i like that bottle you have, the stock is too nice for my hunting needs.

i would have it dented and scratched all up with 3 grandkids and me shooting it.

very nice setup you have there !!👍

Thanks! At the moment, I don't know of any kits that will install it. I read somewhere (don't quote me on it!) that maybe Umarex would do a small run of them, but it would require drilling and tapping. I know Ohio Airguns sells a 3d printed band that attaches to the air tube under the shroud behind the air tank block. I've seen a similar style band on ebay as well. Personally, I think they might work better than the Hajimoto version that attaches to the tank. Other than that, maybe it would be possible to get a broken .25 Gauntlet and source the clamp directly?

Very nice, always like the 2078(79???) stocks. Actually a pretty good value when they are around.

I like the Gauntlet stock but wanted lighter and have a custom QB78(w/drop block) stock so I've taken to using it. Only needed a different size stock bolt/screw.

Putting the QB in the Gauntlet stock took removing 1/8" of the forward lockdown notch. Easy with sandpaper cover dowel.

Hey that's nice, I like that stock as well. This one is the ar2079a, I almost went for the thumbhole stock, but I like this one better. Archer had 9 of them at the time I bought it, which was I think the 12th of this month. This one was super easy too. Most of the work went into notching the wood for the safety stop on the trigger guard. Other than that, it was pretty much drop in. Same thing about the hold down screw, had to get a longer one, but man, so easy and looks so good.
