Target made from shingles

Had some extra ridge singles so I separated the three sections and stacked them just over two and a half inches thick. Before I taped it up I shot my Pulsar HP 177 using JSB 16.2g @ 955fps / 32fpe and it only went in about 4 layers for about a quarter inch. It didn't actually go through that many layers just made a dent in the 4th so we'll see how long this lasts. I'm mainly just be shooting at it with my tuned down Notos....so it should last a while.

How loud was the impact noise?

Actually I'm more interested in the plumping for your outdoor sink:)
Plumbing was easy to tie into. I have an old house and the drain from the kitchen sink goes outside then down into the concrete so I just tied it into that. The water I tied also from the sink, didn't need to extend it so far from the exterior of the wall but didn't feel like running back to the hardware store.

@ZekeZX10 That’s actually a creative target idea. I wonder how this works with the old shingles that have been replaced.

I'm going to be tuning this Notos up again soon to 20fpe or so but I think I'm done with these wad cutters I've been using. I'm all out not going to buy more, I just can't get them to group well.

They're lighter than the 13.43 jsb's I shoot but they're traveling about the same velocity so I think they just don't fit the barrel, seems a lot of the air is escaping I believe and you can see that in the SD .

The group in the 🟣 are 18.13g and much better grouping than the wadcutters in the 🔵
At this low speed neither one of them are penetrating at all... kinda crazy because they will pass right through a dove.

We Danes do not use that kind of roofing like you guys do, with all those little shingles nailed on the roof, we put wide tracks on there instead and " glue " them in place.
Usually on roofs with a lesser incline / angle.

But good idea i never thought of that, and it look to stop these wad cutters dead in their track.

Edit : The singels do seem to exist here, but i have to admit i have not seen them in use.

Pretty expensive stuff, i thought about putting it on the shot shed, but the price discouraged me, so i found a cheaper alternative.

PS: In Danish it is called tagpap, which translate directly to tag / Roof and pap / cardboard. :)
