AEA First Big bore

Hey Gents. Looking for my first big bore. Looking for the best and consistancy and reliabliaty out to 100 to 150 yards. Have my eye on the t-rex and the Zuess. Would welcome any other makes. Not set on a caliber yet but will be intended for Deer and hogs here in Texas. What's the deal with AEA? Seems like I have seen a lot of negative feedback on them. Should I stay away from AEA all together?
Since your intentions are to use it for deer hunting, my opinions, based on a great deal of experience: .30 caliber for an air rifle is way too small. .35 caliber I now rank as a medium bore; not as a "big bore," for air rifles. However, these two smaller calibers WILL kill a deer, but there are other calibers that will simply do it better. For such hunting, everything considered, a .45s performance is the SMALLEST caliber most suitable, while a .510 is even better in performance. Anything in a larger caliber than .510, for an air rifle hunting deer, is not suitable, too many negatives with fewer positives. An air rifle performance peaks at .510, and performance decreases with anything larger than .510 caliber. Your idea of using ANY air rifle for killing deer at a range of 100 to 150 yards is ridiculous, and a fantasy. Range more in line with bow hunting is more suitable.
