Umarex umarex zelos

Hello action pistol ,
Just do a ebay search for Zelos bottle adapter it will pop right up. It's the only one there I believe..
The bottle is an aluminum one from Walmart it's heavy , but I only bench rest , so it works good for me. It's a Tuxing bottle.
Do you mind if I ask how do you change your post name to something cool like action pistol. See
That's my name from Brian enos when I competed with pistol for many years. Powder burners , reloading, national and state levels. Just kept the name.
Thanks for the info

ok... i like the price point on this gun. videos all seem to be positive. def. would do an adaptor and bottle. 580.. will 700 fit?
i have a taipan vet long that ive shot ,,,,200? times. that 200 rounds total! upgrade stock. upgrade to dials for tuning. its small enough but its heavy.
as accurate as they come and holds air ,,,well? indefinitely. (ive had it for a few years now) awesome trigger on the taipan. but i think if i had a lighter gun id use it more.

so,,, who's got the zelos? did you do a bottle? talk to me goose. i like .25 cal
I have an Umarex Zelos/Snow Peak M60 In .25 caliber. 1st For the money, it’s a great airgun! They’re accurate and reliable. I have a bottle valve on order to switch the Zelos to the M60-B specs, but I haven’t heard any news when it might show up. I really like the rifle, and it is very manageable weight wise. I recommend it highly if you’re on a budget, or just looking for a fun gun to shoot. I have to admit though that I haven’t done much of anything with the Zelos since I got my AGT Uragan 2. It’s a completely different animal. I mainly use my air guns to keep the predators and pests under control on our farm. The Zelos did a good job dealing with rats, raccoons, and the chipmunks that overran the farm this past year, but it just wasn’t up to the task of keeping the coyote population down enough to keep the chickens, ducks, and smaller farm animals safe. I had to up my game to stop them from killing all of our ducks and chickens for a second time. The Uragan 2 has proven to have more than enough power to make clean, humane shots at 100+ yards, and im getting more than 60 shots per fill as opposed to the 30 or so shots from the unmodified Umarex. So far, the U2 hasn’t been finicky about ammo like my Zelos. Overall though the Zelos is great, and I would buy it again if it were stolen.

Even better at $400 and there’s dozens of sites offering it for around $400.

Can’t beat Umarex these days in terms of bang for your buck. I have high end guns like Ghost, M4, red wolf and others and love them, their ergonomics, feel, quality and performance and all. I also have a Notos and a Zelos, which I love as well. Either I expect not enough from a +2k gun or underestimate a $400 gun… Onviously fit and finish is not comparable, but in terms of accuracy (within their appropriate range) and fun neither the Notos nor the Zelos have to hide and I pick them up regularly! That said, I’d never pour 100s of additional dollars into a Notos/Zelos cause they are great for what they are but the moment they are getting +1k plus builds I’d buy something else. Also they don’t need it imho, good to go bone stock (of course understand the urge to fiddle and improve though ;)).

Wonder why the published specs are so low for muzzle energy? That’s half the reason for not taking the plunge
Yeah the published say adjustable reg to 2,000 , but Nates video on Airgun Channel says 3,000.
Before I got my Chrony I set the reg to 2,700 turned my hammer spring in 4 turns , and I could shoot 28 grain slugs like a laser , but had to get a 500 cc bottle , so I could get more than 10 shots before it fell off the reg.

I have one in .22, i put a 500cc bottle on it, same diameter as 580, and 700 from tuxing on Amazon.

yeah, it makes the gun look under powered in the specs. but an airgun calculator gets it right.
My .22 cal Zelos is shooting the 28g slugs at an average of 885.2 fps. That's 48.73 fpe. The adjustable reg is set at 2,900 , and the hammer spring is 5 turns in from flush. I was planning to do some out to a 100 yards shooting , but a recent surgery held me up. I did this max power tune trying to get a 920 fps velocity. I have since bought 18g, 21g and 25g slugs to test to see if I could reach the higher velocity. However was informed that this much velocity was not needed as they were shooting out to a 100 at 815 fps with great results , and my Zelos had the most accuracy at 833. My Zelos is stock except for a round nose 500cc aluminum bottle I got from Amazon for $40. If you are looking to a lighter smaller rifle
Firewalker has done some great mods for others here , and as far as I know they were all happy with his work. The Zelos Owners manual says the adjustable reg can be set to 2,000 but when I watched Nates video on u tube he said 3,000 just need bottle to get more than a few shots.

I don't know anything about slugs, I'm shooting JSB 25.39 redesigned/Deep, that what i tuned it for. one hole groups at 30yard. I'll be able to shoot it out to 50 in a couple weeks. Don't have the room in my back yard. I went with the 500cc Aluminum CF wrapped for $105. My Huben Cricket should be here Wednesday. Using the C-88 adapter right now. All good so far. I only payed $470 with free shipping.
