Huben GK1 Pellet size

I put my deposit on a GK1 .25CAL, can't wait to get it, I'm reading everything on here about it, sounds like there's a difference in pellet size fitting in different years of production, anyone have 2024/25 , what pellets are you shooting?
@Michiganman313 I like 25.4 grain JSB King Diabolo and 34 grain FX Diabolo pellets shot from my GK1 V3 in .25.

Anything that has a standard round nose will fit. The "common" weights and popular name brands all shoot well in the magazines. Both JSB and FX pellets in 34 grain with a medium power tune is good for one magazine of shots per fill, and the respective lighter 25 grain pellets can be tuned for two magazine's per fill (with pretty flat extreme spreads for accuracy).

Experimenting with the pointed pellets is asking for trouble, as they tend to jam.

I just got a .25 cal GK1. What are your thought on pellets, now that 6 months have passed?

I have written in other threads about this subject. On my .25 GK1s, I have both a Gen 1 and a Gen 3, both have a magazine bore of exactly .250" measured with precision pins. The pellet retention mechanism is a light chamfer at the mouth of each mag bore. This chamfer is designed to hold the oversize pellet skirt, which is .010" larger than the pellet head at .260". This prevents the pellet from shifting forward in the magazine causing jams. All the JSB pellets work flawlessly in this manor. I recently shot two tins of H&N pellets and the skirt diameter was small and allowed the pellets to shift forward and jam. So beware. always check your chosen pellet's skirt size before buying too many. I have not tested other brands, so that is on you. I shoot the 25.4 gr pellets because they are very accurate and less expensive than the heavier 33.9 gr size.

Nothing from H&N will fit my magazine properly. They don't seat well and shift around while shooting. Not sure if this is the case with all GK1s, but mine doesn't like 'em. Too loose. Some of them even fall straight through the mag.

It's a shame because I really like H&N. Especially the Hunter Extreme pellets and Grizzly slugs.

I haven't tried the 48 grain Heavy Slug yet though. I always assumed they wouldn't fit either, or are too long... Let me know if they work for you.

OK mate I'll let you know. As said they fit pretty tight I'm worried if they may damage the gun as it will take way more effort to push the projectile out. I was told these are designed for gk1 but as we know magazine size varies with different gun versions, so I guess I'll have to try and see how they works for my unit

Anyone has experience with HN .253 48 grain slugs. I'm about trying it out but I fear I can damage the gun as they fit pretty tight I use force to push them in. Any advice in general with slugs that fit in tightly? Thanks
I tried those and had the same results. I now shoot AVS 254 Cal 42 Gr Lead Hollow Point Flat Base, they fit snug, you have to slightly push them in. they are incredibly accurate at 50yds. try 2 and 1/2 turns on the power and go from there.

Today I shot HN 48 grain .253 and they were running just fine. No problems at all and pretty decent accuracy. I shot them without much effort and expectations. This is first 33y 5 shots group. Not bad. 2 and 1/2 revs from zero they work fine. For sure sitting tight as they fit snug, so no chance for jams.

AVS aren't available in my region. Pretty sure 254 will not fit my magazine. I have Altaros ATP Smooth .254 which I can't manage to push inside the mag at all. My Huben is V3+
