I was an early adopter of the DRS Tactical, so mine lacks the newer external adjustment features. I’m still learning PCP tuning - still seems like a bit of a dark art - so I’m weighing whether to sell and move to a rifle with factory adjustments or to retrofit my Tactical with the updated handguard, back block, and hammer-adjustment wheel so I can start experimenting with settings myself. I really don’t want to have to take the rifle apart every time I want to change or refine a setting. The more I tinker around with the gun, the more I'm finding FX knocked this one out of the park, why I've decided on the Leopard 700/22 and to sell my Impact. I saw the claim of 75-80 shots with 15.89 at 900. Its more than true. last night I lowered my regulator to 80-82 bar. I'm at very very low hammer spring settings. over 80 shots at 895 fps with the Jumbo Exact, Considering this is being used as a close to medium range bird/squirrel zapper that's perfect. I've ordered a good amount of light projectiles. the Benjamin 14.3 single die, jumbo exact, Atomic/Hades. Im buying the DRS pro base and dropping into the tactical furniture. The DRS/Dynamic system is really a step up for FX. Great system.
