I, recreationally, shoot some 50 and 100-yard paper, but only to test groups and adjust scope, with the highest percentage at metallic silhouettes from 40 to 160 meters. We are challenged by wind, sometimes from 3 or 4 directions on the range.
I have (5) .22 PCPs, shooting pellets: two FX Streamlines with added plenums; one DRS Synthetic Classic 600 mm; one Air Arms S510Extra; one Umarex Gauntlet (for kicks). All but the DRS have Hawek AirMax 4-12X AMX. The DRS has Hawke WASF 6-24X, but is only used at 12 power as are the other scopes. The 12X provides sufficient elevation gradients for the trajectory from 40 to 160 meters.
I have all guns shooting at the same velocity, except for the Gauntlet, so that I can use the same scope increments for each distance. I'm old, and changing too many things becomes overwhelming over a day of shooting.
Which gun(s) should I sell to replace with what other gun(s) to offer better results?
Replacement at a similar cost/value is a factor, although not absolute.
