Harriers, Huntsman & Regals are an odd bunch in that they all utilize a VERY heavy poppet return spring and a modest rate hammer spring moving a VERY HEAVY hammer !!!!
In the case of such an old PCP design, changing the Transfer port size is about the extent I would change tune by doing this basic of alterations. * Tho you must fabricate your own differing ports.
Too do more which can be very satisfying requires extensive changes and knowledge of how and where more modern designs do the same with far less.

I’d check with these guys - they are a great source for Daystate parts:

Hammer spring appears to be #43 on the exploded parts diagram for your rifle.

As Motorhead mentions, changing out the hammer spring may not get you to factory 12 ft/lbs specifications - as your “FAC” version may have a stiffer valve return spring, heavier hammer, etc - than actual UK rifles. However, changing out the hammer spring is simple and non-invasive.

I’d suggest measuring your current spring diameter and wire thickness - then ordering a few springs of that diameter with various wire thicknesses. Then try them out. Inexpensive way to tune power down. AliExpress is a great source for springs.

Both suggestions are good. On a CRX I changed from 18 to 11 ft lb, I had the vision of lightening the hs and poppet return spring to lower power and be easier to cock but the heavy hammer requires a heavy return spring so only real option without the extensive alterations is a smaller transfer port and slightly lighter hs. Shortening the stroke helps but all 3 are going to be necessary to get there and still be able to go back easily.

A side note... Alan Z brought an extensively altered CR94 to the 2000 World's. He had APPARENTLY replaced the hammer with a Delrin, light version, then altered the valve arrangement to open with that hammer. It was pretty amazing. NO perceived shot cycle... just a click of the trigger and the smack of the pellet on the paper. Had one of his monster ldc's on it that probably added to the sensation. I was shooting an unregulated Huntsman and the wife was campaigning a Rapid 17 so both were in the heavy hammer area which probably added to the notable difference , as well.
