It seems to make a significant difference.
I used a DB app on my phone, tho not very scientific is shows 6-10 db difference.

I tried a NFA .22 suppressor I have and it was no quieter, so I'll stick with the Buck Rail.

That is very smart, I made the mistake of buying a .22 one, I keep having clipping, should have gotten the .25 cal. well I will save it for a future .177
