I don't think CPR on a raccoon would work for lead poisoning

Must've been a really slow news day if they spent 3 minutes on that. Some people (and I mean the nurse) have way too much time on there hands.

Rabies is transmitted by saliva. Raccoons lick their paws, even a tiny scratch from that animal could transmit the virus. Very risky. It could have awaken and bit or scratched and then run off into the woods. Then what?
